On Tuesday 15th March 2016 our school joined in with the
rest of the country to raise our National Flag and to celebrate our hard won
independence. Sections of the proclamation were read by students and parents
gathered listened to performances of traditional tunes played on tin whistles.
The students then sang our National Anthem before going outside to raise the
flag. The V. Rev. Joseph Kavanagh P.P. performed this task surrounded by the
pupils and parents.
